Data security tool for advanced access right control, encryption and audit:

Reliable data security tool for advanced access right control, encryption and audit, which extends them much beyond the scope of the standard Windows security services. R-Guard enables the user to control access rights to various file systems objects for users, for applications and system processes as well. R-Guard prevents data from disclosure, theft, modification, corruption, and deletion by another user or various malicious programs.

R-Guard features and highlights:
  • Wizard guiding the users through the creation of encrypted disks
  • List of the most frequently connected encrypted disks
  • Configurable list of auto-connected encrypted disks
  • Change the size of the encrypted disk easily
  • Access to encrypted disk control actions outside the management panel directly from the Windows shell
  • Special icon for connected encrypted disks in the Windows shell (can be disabled)
  • Access to most R-Crypto actions from the Windows system tray

R-Guard is licensed as Shareware for the Windows operating system / platform from file and folder protection software and can be used as a free trial until the trial period ends (after 30 days). The R-Guard 2.2 demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions and is not necessarily the download of the full version.

Since the publisher or product no longer exists, the download of R-Guard is from the archive and therefore outdated; updates to this software should not be expected.
